“Advance Sustainable Solutions for Local and Global Problems Through Multidisciplinary and Industrial Synergy”
Seminar Nasional Teknik Industri Waluyo Jatmiko 2025 (SEMNAS WJ 2025) merupakan forum ilmiah tahunan yang diselenggarakan untuk mempertemukan akademisi, peneliti, praktisi industri, mahasiswa, serta pemangku kepentingan dalam membahas isu-isu strategis yang berkaitan dengan teknologi, industri, dan pembangunan berkelanjutan.
Dengan mengusung tema “Advance Sustainable Solutions for Local and Global Problems Through Multidisciplinary and Industrial Synergy”, SEMNAS WJ 2025 mendorong lahirnya solusi inovatif yang dapat menjawab tantangan lokal sekaligus memberikan dampak positif bagi komunitas global.
Melalui pendekatan multidisiplin, para peserta diajak untuk mengintegrasikan ilmu pengetahuan, teknologi, manajemen, sosial-humaniora, serta praktik industri dalam menciptakan strategi berkelanjutan yang aplikatif. Kolaborasi lintas bidang ini diharapkan mampu memperkuat peran riset dalam:
- Mendukung pengembangan industri nasional yang kompetitif.
- Menjawab kebutuhan masyarakat dan pemerintah dalam menghadapi perubahan global.
- Menjadi katalisator menuju tercapainya visi Indonesia Emas 2045.
Selain sebagai wadah publikasi ilmiah, SEMNAS WJ 2025 juga menghadirkan sesi pleno, keynote speakers, parallel session, serta networking forum yang memberikan ruang untuk bertukar pikiran, menjalin kerja sama penelitian, hingga membangun jejaring nasional maupun internasional.
Dengan menghadirkan tokoh-tokoh berpengaruh dari dunia akademik, industri, dan pemerintahan, SEMNAS WJ 2025 diharapkan dapat menjadi momentum strategis untuk menyatukan visi dan aksi dalam mewujudkan pembangunan yang berkelanjutan, inklusif, dan berdaya saing tinggi.

KEYNOTE SPEAKER
Dr. Kento Morita Mie University | Japan
Kento Morita received B.E. in 2014, M.E. in 2016, and Ph.D in 2019, all from University of Hyogo. He was a research fellow of Japan Society for the Promotion of Science (JSPS DC2, 2017-2019). He was an assistant professor (2019-2023) and is currently an associate professor (2023) at Mie University. Since 2021, he has been a specially appointed research fellow at the National Cerebral and Cardiovascular Center. His research interests include medical image analysis and artificial intelligence. He received the Young Researcher Award 2023 (Fuji Technology Press Ltd.)
Prof. Drs. Agus Harjoko, M.Sc., Ph.D. Universitas Gadjah Mada | Indonesia
Prof. Agus Harjoko, Drs., M.Sc., Ph.D., is a Professor at the Department of Computer Science and Electronics, Universitas Gadjah Mada, Indonesia. He holds a B.Sc. in Physics from UGM and an M.Sc. and Ph.D. in Computer Science from the University of New Brunswick, Canada. With over 30 years of experience, he has led extensive research in computer vision, artificial intelligence, image processing, and intelligent systems, producing hundreds of publications and developing applications for agriculture, transportation, healthcare, and surveillance.
Faisol Riza Deputy Minister of Industry of the Republic of Indonesia (TBC)
Faisol Riza currently serves as the Deputy Minister of Industry of the Republic of Indonesia. He earned his Bachelor’s degree in Philosophy from the Driyarkara School of Philosophy, Jakarta, graduating in 2001. In 2021, he completed his Master’s degree in Public Administration at the University of Indonesia, Depok. Before assuming his role in government, he was actively engaged as a writer and social activist, contributing to public discussions on democracy, policy, and social development. His professional journey reflects a strong dedication to advancing national industry, fostering sustainable economic growth, and empowering communities through inclusive policies.
